barb- IF the oct 24 gathering happens- i may bring a harpist friend. all up in the air. IF it all comes tog, would it be possible for her to stay with you overnite on fri 23? I can stay @ leigh's, but there is no room there for anyone else. This woman is a concert harpist- i have taken some lessons with her- she is wonderful. we're NOT schlepping a pedal harp- one thing at a time.
i need to go practice some. keep intouch! kate

barb- enjoyed the day very much. getting tog in oct would be great. kate
books- i have some books which are rather beyond me, but the auburn circle uses them- perhaps you would like to review them for the Northern group:
by Nancy Hurrell- Ring of Harps and Circle of Harps- these are arrangements for solo or ensemble playing.
Somewhat easier selections are Rounds for Harp by Christina Tourin and 50 Christmas Carols for All Harps by Sylvia W.
reckon i'll warm up and take a look at Finale! kate
barb- do you have input on which selections from Finale will be featured at the sept 12 circle? i have the book but i haven't even opened it. a "head-up" would be wonderful! thanks, kate

My bad this time! That one isn't a blog, it is a text box from the administrator. I keep forgetting that people can't comment on those! Sorry! To comment, you will have to post your own blog of what you have done or are doing. I guess I deserve 40 lashes with a broken string! (A really small nylon one, please!)
Barbara, I've been to Ireland too....saw the book of kells at Trinity, and toured Wales, Scotland and England.....then another time we returned to England and toured different areas. So, Barbara....when we getting a group together to go to Ireland....?????
Hi Barbara, glad you tried the Sambalele, it's cute and Bolivian I believe. I hear from a mutual friend that Bethany Anderson is going to rent a harp and start lessons. Wonderful! Rita
