Northern Harpsong

Northern Maine chapter of the International Society of Folk Harpers & Craftsmen

this is in reply to Leigh's queston re summer heat and harping.......

This summer the biggest challenge here is to keep dry. but on the really hot days, a fan, a tall glass of iced peppermint water, a few fellow harpers, and I have all I need!

Any other strategies out there???

"How wet is is..."

Is there a point where the harp can't change any more in the dampnes? Or is it just that the humidity keeps fluctuating? this is really aggravating, and I expect my harp to begin smelling like my basement any day now! Ugh! Even the central air off the heat exchanger has "Eau d'dirt floor" perfume!

How about two bins of ice water as well - one for each foot?
