Have a Harpy New Year!

It is dues time again! Yep, already!

For only $10.00 a year, members enjoy discounts on workshops we sponsor, an occasional newsletter and this website for sharing ideas, asking questions and posting pictures, videos, audio tracks, and website links. There is also the availability of chatting if more than one person is on here at the same time.

I don't know how many of you plan to travel this spring and summer, but there are some wonderful events out there for harpers.

Beginning in the Middle is happening March 11 - 14. Their website is: http://www.beginninginthemiddle.com/

The Harp Gathering is happening May 14 - 16. For info go to: http://www.harpgathering.com/

The Somerset Folk Harp Festival is July 29 - August 1 can be found at: http://www.somersetharpfest.com/

These are just a few of the offerings out there this coming year. If you plan to or do attend one or more, or learn of other events, please feel free to let us know about them!

Thanks and have a wonderful year!

WELCOME!

Hi everyone!

About Northern Harpsong:

How does one become a member? Joining this site is FREE! However, the annual membership fee to join the chapter itself is $10.00 a year. We have purposely kept the fee as small as we could. This entitles members to reduced rates for any events sponsored by Northern Harpsong and includes newsletters with all sorts of harp related tips and even some sheet music!
I hope you are as excited as I am about this new "chapter" in the
development of harping in Northern Maine!

We're nearly done with my CD project. Most of the music on the CD can be played on a lever harp and it's a collection of favorites of mine. I love to play music that makes people stop talking at parties and ask "What was that? It's soooo beautiful". There's also music that my family loves, all of it soothing and gently cheerful.

visit

Hi, Was so glad I could stop by to say hello! Andy is so busy traveling all over the State, and sometimes I feel I have to keep him company on the road. Will be going (the 14th) to my 50th Class Reunion in Philadelphia. God Bless you all and keep "plucking". Rita
